The third mode, "light mode" is free but less functional than the other two modes. All three modes are available in the same program. The user simply selects which mode they wish to run. The Opera Browser comes with built-in POP/IMAP E-Mail, Opera Mail, that is is a combined e-mail program, news reader, mailing list organizer and RSS/Atom newsfeed reader.
